Hi, I'm Melina!

I'm a Youth Counsellor and Psychotherapist passionate about working with young people, children, and families, particularly those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, or figuring out who they are in a world that doesn't always make that easy. I believe everyone deserves a space where they can show up exactly as they are, without pressure or judgement.

My approach centres on expressive and narrative therapy through a trauma-informed lens. I'm drawn to the idea that we all have a story worth telling, and that creative expression can be one of the most powerful ways to tell it. Whether that looks like art, writing, or simply finding the right words together, I tailor every session to what feels most natural for the person in front of me.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent years connecting with people across theatre, hospitality, and community work. Those experiences shaped me into someone who genuinely loves listening, and who brings a lot of curiosity and warmth to the work. I hold a Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Bachelor of Psychological Science, and I'm committed to continuing to grow as a clinician so I can show up fully for the people I work with.

Outside the therapy room, you'll find me at a new cafe, lost in a book, or rewatching a horror movie I've already seen three times. I'm a solo traveller at heart, a Halsey enthusiast, and always happy to talk about what we're reading.
