“I believe counselling works best when you feel safe enough to be yourself, without judgement. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion and respect as you make sense of your experiences and move towards a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are.”

My Approach

I offer a warm, person-centred and trauma-informed approach, creating a calm and collaborative space where you can explore challenges at your own pace. Many people come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected from themselves. Together, we gently explore patterns, emotions and life experiences, building understanding while developing practical ways to navigate difficulties and create sustainable change.

My work integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Narrative approaches. This means we may explore how thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact, develop skills to respond more flexibly to difficult experiences, reconnect with strengths and values, and reshape the stories you hold about yourself and your life. Rather than trying to “fix” you, therapy focuses on supporting you to understand yourself more deeply and move forward in ways that feel authentic and empowering.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working in leadership and community-focused roles, supporting people through change, uncertainty and growth. This experience gives me a practical understanding of the pressures people face in work, relationships and everyday life, and informs my grounded, real-world approach to therapy.

I support people experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, burnout and the ongoing impact of difficult or past experiences. My intention is to provide a steady, supportive space where you feel heard, respected and able to reconnect with your strengths, values and sense of direction.

I see counselling as a partnership. You are the expert in your own life, and together we work towards greater clarity, resilience and wellbeing in a way that feels safe, collaborative and meaningful to you.
